Full Project Name: College-Level Quality Assurance

Project Objective:

To compare learning outcomes and experiences between Chinese-medium (CMI) and English-medium (EMI) courses of the same subject within the same department, with the aim of enhancing course quality and improving EMI teaching.

Eligibility:

All paired CMI and EMI courses are eligible to apply. Applications are not limited to courses offered by the College of Science.

Application Period: From today until September 3, 2026 (by 5:00 PM).

Implementation:

  1.  Required Documents:
    i. Course syllabi for both CMI and EMI sections. The course syllabi of both sections must be at least 80% consistent in content.
    ii. A comparison list of course contents between the two sections.
  2. Funding Disbursement Criteria: Upload midterm exam papers and scores for both Chinese and EMI sections. The midterm exams of both sections must share at least 50% identical questions.
