Full Project Name: Department-Level Quality Assurance

Project Objective:

To promote the University’s “Bilingual Education for Students in College (BEST) Program” and to strengthen its bilingual environment and capacity, the University has launched EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) programs starting from the 2021 academic year. These programs aim to strengthen students’ English proficiency and professional knowledge while enhancing their international competitiveness. To assess the effectiveness of EMI, to explore the differences between EMI and CMI (Chinese as a Medium of Instruction) teaching outcomes, and to monitor students’ learning outcomes over time, this quality assurance project is implemented on courses in both EMI and regular programs.

Eligibility: Departments or degree programs offering EMI programs at the University.

Application period: until September 7, 2026 (by 5:00 PM).

Implementation:

  1. Registration: Beginning of the semester: Upload a project proposal, including a cover page, the project description, and the budget request form. Please log in to download the project proposal template.
  2. within one month after the end of the semester: Upload the final report.
